CHALLENGE:
Paul Ayre understands that in order to help continually improve the firm’s performance its
people must have access to training that empowers and inspires them.Three years ago
he tasked Dale Carnegie with implementing a bespoke people development programme.
 
SOLUTION:
Dale Carnegie took time to assess the particular needs of the firm, taking into account Gordons’ pragmatic, results-driven culture and how its people define its distinctive culture within the Yorkshire legal sector. A programme of courses was created to develop the skills of fee earners and managers and allow them to improve performance across various elements of the firm including business development and people management.
 
RESULTS:
So far, more than 50 people at Gordons have completed the Dale Carnegie training programme with noticeable results. Graduates of the programme are more confident and skilled in attracting new clients to the firm and many have progressed to becoming partners since completing the training.
